The University of Perugia for Foreigners as a member of ALTE (Association of Language Testers in Europe) confers the following prestigious Certificates on successful completion of examinations, which can be held in Italy and abroad.  The main aim of the Certificates is to establish uniform standards for evaluating linguistic achievement corresponding to The Council of Europe criteria.

- CELI 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 – CERTIFICATE OF KNOWLEDGE OF THE ITALIAN LANGUAGE, at various levels

- CELI 5 DOC, Certificate which qualifies foreigners to teach Italian in their country of origin and permits entry to the classification lists for 

   teaching in Italian State Schools.

- CIC – CERTIFICATO DI CONOSCENZA DELL’ITALIANO COMMERCIALE,  at intermediate and advanced level

Since 2002 …team lingue International House, has been a Certifying body along with the University of Perugia and it is possible to sit the various sessions of CELI and CIC exams in our Centre

UNIVERSITY of CAMBRIDGE ESOL Examinations (English for Speakers of Other Languages)

The Cambridge ESOL Examinations follow the levels of attainment set by the Council of Europe. Every year around 2 million people in the world study for these exams, which give access to schools and universities, both to measure their own linguistic ability and to obtain better job prospects. Many schools and universities in Italy accept them as Scholastic Credits and the diplomas obtained do not expire.
